The Massachusetts State Poetry Society publishes the "Bay State Echo", the Society's
newsletter, which keeps members informed as to what is happening in the field of poetry. The "Bay State Echo" informs
members about contests being sponsored throughout the country - presents marketing information and market lists - prints poems
by members - reviews books of poetic interest and instructs on the craftsmaship aspect of the art. The newsletter also
reports doings and happenings in the poetic lives of its members and presents rules of contests sponsored for members only.
It also offers its members an opportunity to participate in a ROUND ROBIN . . . (members
send their poems to one another via mail to robin members and receive comments and feedback on their work.)
The Massachusetts State Poetry Society puts out an annual Poetry anthology of member's
poems in December of each year.
Each Society meeting features a writing Workship as well as a featured program.
